Rest in fashion paradise

13LWREN_SPAN-articleLarge-v2On the West coast, many of us were shocked by the alarming earthquake while in the East coast, the 49-year-old designer beauty L’Wren Scott took her life away in her lavish apartment in Manhattan this Monday morning. It is a sad day in the fashion world because we lost an amazing designer that many of us sure loved and admired very much.

This morning, NBC News officially confirmed the loss of Mick Jagger‘s respected designer girlfriend death. This was shocking news to all of her fans, family, and friends from all over.

Jagger’s  representative spoke about Jagger’s feelings towards his girlfriend’s tragedy and said he was,

                                                “Completely shocked and devastated,”

The 6’4 former model had recently collaborated with Banana Republic for holiday, as she styled and attracted a infinite amount of A-list stars such as Michelle Obama, Sarah Jessica Parker, Penelope Cruz, Angelina Jolie,  Amy Adams and the list goes on and on. Alyssa Milano tweeted her condolences and said,


Scott began as a model and worked in Paris as she dominated the runways. She later moved to Los Angeles to become a stylist.

Her first collection goes back to 2006 when she launched her collection “Little Black Dress”. Last month the designer canceled her show in London’s Fashion Week due to production problems.

Madonna also reported in a statement and said Scott’s death was,

“a horrible and tragic loss,”
